MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised within a musical family, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is a must. In his childhood he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. His initial goal was becoming a vet, His brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing classes with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end result personally discovering his talent in the field of singing changed the course of his life.
