Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. She was raised listening to classical Boleros from the past as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form theatrical performance. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started intensive singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of chamber and opera choirs. After moving in America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs classical Latin American Music. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her love and passion for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
